It describes an unpredictable ghostly power, such as supernatural forces attached to mechanical bodies. This series of works is inspired by Gothic novels, science fiction, and religious myths that emerged after the Industrial Revolution, with a particular focus on how seemingly terrifying images (such as Dr. Frankenstein's monster, Judgment Day's angel, Lilith, etc.) reflect our fear of rapidly developing industrial civilization.As a combination of darkness, mystery, and holiness, Gothic utilizes supernatural events to capture the hysterical power and terror triggered by technology. Like Dr. Frankenstein's monster, it is a metaphor for the capitalist production process, formed through deformation, and civilized through barbarism. By referencing the symbol "Chiron" in ancient Greek mythology and astrology, I wanted to create an open consultation room for dialogue.&nbsp; The text is between reality and fiction, pointing to the true meaning of "therapy" in the postmodern context through metaphor and analysis, and thinking about how to reshape individual identity through the means of connection. The text is divided into three chapters (counseling room, temple, astrology) according to the context, and the two sides of the dialogue are mainly set as the therapist and the client. In the room, through the metal fence, Umi saw a large and constantly wriggling Cloud outside the window. Although doctors and analysts repeatedly told Umi It was just hallucination, Umi still insists that it exists. During the treatment, the clouds Umi saw began to morph and distort. Umi began to dream and draw them. One day, the Cloud disappeared." The work "Cloud: Hysterical Fantasy and Doomsday Melancholy" is a situational hybrid installation based on fictional writing, which consists of a short story with materials such as painting and sound. The text consists of two open parts, the first describes the record of a boy Umi receiving treatment after being diagnosed with illusion, and the other part is Umi as a doomsday world humanoid machine fighting against the runaway schizophrenic cloud in his dreamland. The text creates a therapeutic situation by blending hyper-reality, simulacrum and fantasy, into which the viewer enters through the perspective of the psychotic subject created by the artist. The Furies were the goddesses of revenge in Greek myth. These three female divinities were named Alecto, Tisiphone, and Megaera. As a combination of Earth's Mother Gaia and the blood of Uranus, furies have the power of evil, curse, madness, and hysteria. I tried to use these three girl goddesses as prototypes, combining mechanical and inorganic bodies, imagining them as "Sailor Moon" who appeared at the moment of judgment, and presented beautiful battle events on the canvas. In the creative process, I try to capture the conflict and borderline pain within the body, and release these subjective experiences on the canvas. By presenting images of the painting process, I hope to prompt the audience to look at different positions and ways of viewing, and what is presented on the canvas is an event rather than a picture. Emphasize that the act of painting is the result of painting itself. As Bataille said, "self" is not a subject isolated from the world, but a place of communication, where subject and object blend. I confined myself in a room for about twenty days to complete it. My intention was to restore the room that has been limited and protected me. This work also aims to apply Carl Gustav Jung's psychological healing treatment by expressive art mentioned in the Red Book. In this room, I released the emotions, memories, and illusions that have long plagued me through painting, and&nbsp;finally use a roller with white paint to cover the paintings&nbsp;created on the wall. When we discussed "abnormality," we need to think&nbsp;about the real meaning of "normal" in a social context. &nbsp;To reflect their situation, I tried to show the treatment details&nbsp;and methods for this non-existed disease. I even tried to&nbsp;reproduce the clinic environment. It was a temporary virtual&nbsp;space with the settings that copied from the reality to stimulate&nbsp;a real clinic for reversal treatment.
